A utility socket wrench capable of use in any size of bolts or nuts includes a socket member, a connector (16) and a handle (17). The socket member consists of upper and lower jaws (1), a movable center shaft (4), an adjustable nut (13) with a head (11), a pair of operating links (7), lots of support links (5) and a pair of jaw links (2). When turning the adjustible nut to the right, the operating links push the two jaws to be opened. The maximum opening of the jaw may be achieved when the adjustable nut is turned to the right-hand direction and the support links are positioned upright to the center shaft. To fit the bolt or nut to be operated to the jaw grippers (1A), the adjustable nut is turned to the left-hand direction.
