摘要 PURPOSE:To enable high efficient driving and electric charge to be attained by arranging an electric motor and the first and second clutches between an engine and a transmission and selecting these clutches, in the case of hybrid vehicle equipped with the engine and the electric motor. CONSTITUTION:A route, which transmits power through a fluid coupling 7 and the first clutch 8 serving as the one-way clutch, and a route, which transmits the power through only the second clutch 9, are provided in a power transmitting route between an engine 3 and a transmission 5. While a route, which transmits an output of an electric motor 4 directly to an input side of the transmission 5, is provided. When the electric motor 4 is driven, turning off the second clutch 9, the electric motor 4 transmits its rotation being left as it is to be transmission 5. On the contrary, when the engine 3 is driven, in the time of starting and acceleration, turning off the second clutch 9, rotation of the engine 3 is transmitted through the torque converter 7, and when the engine is driven being directly coupled, the second clutch 9 is turned on.
