PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of photographic performances such as the increase of fogging and the decrease of sensitivity in the title material during the time after preparing a photosensitive material till the beginning of the use of said material by specifying the total amount of silver contd. in the material, and the ratio of the gold coated amount per the silver coated amount contd. in said material based on a unit area of said material. CONSTITUTION:The title material comprises one or more layers of a red sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, a green sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and a blue sensitive silver halide emulsion layer mounted on a supporting body, and contains a two equivalent magenta coupler in at least the green sensitive silver halide emulsion layer. Said material contains <=6.5g/m<2> total silver amount contd. in the material, and has the weight ratio (Au/Ag) of the gold coated amount per the silver coated amount contd. in the material based on the unit area of said material of <=8.0X10<-6>. Accordingly, the increase of the fogging caused by heat is remarkably improved. The deterioration of the photographic performances such as the increase of the fogging with age, etc., during the time after preparing said material till the beginning of the use of said material, is prevented. |
