The apparatus for sampling blood consists of pumps, pipes and a system for refrigerated storage of the sampled blood. This system is designed in order to take any number of samples at time intervals programmed in advance, without the presence of an operator around the machine. The present invention is characterised in that the sampling cycles, as well as the quantity in each sample, are managed by a computer system 10 piloting the electronic control system 11 of the apparatus, in that the various samples are stored in test tubes arranged on a refrigerated rotating plate 13, in that the pipes are filled and rinsed by a system with a pump 14 and solenoid valves 15, 16 as well as a special safety injection pump 17 for rinsing the catheter with an anti- coagulant liquid 18, and in that the vein is held between two samplings by slow infusion of an appropriate liquid 19. <IMAGE> |
