PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of photographic performances such as the increase of fogging, the decrease of sensitivity and the deterioration of graininess in the title material during the time after preparing a photosensitive material till the beginning of the use of said material by specifying the total amount of silver contd. in the material, and the ratio of the gold coated amount per the silver coated amount contd. in said material based on a unit area of said material. CONSTITUTION:The title material comprises one or more layers of a red sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, a green sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, and a blue sensitive silver halide emulsion layer mounted on a supporting body, and has >=320 specified photographic sensitivity. The total silver amount contd. in the material is 3.0-9.0g/m<2>, and the weight ratio (Au/Ag) of the gold coated amount per the silver coated amount contd. in the material based on the unit area of said material, is <=6.0X10<-6>. Accordingly, the deterioration of the performance in the color negative film with the high sensitivity due to a natural radiation is improved, suppressing a side effect to the minium. Thus, the increase of the fogging, the decrease of the sensitivity and the deterioration of the graininess of the material with age after producing said material, are prevented, and the stability of said material are improved. |
