PURPOSE: To obtain the subject finish capable of preventing fibers from sticking to rolls, or the like, for pressurizing and providing excellent spinning properties by including an alkyl phosphate, a monoalkyl polyglycol ether and a fatty acid alkanolamide as an anti-blocking component. CONSTITUTION: This finish is a finish mixture in which the dry residue thereof contains (A) an antistatic agent component comprising >=30 wt.%, especially 40-60 wt.% of an alkyl phosphate, (B) a lubricant component comprising 10-30 wt.% of a monoalkyl polyglycol ether or a monoacyl polyglycol ester and (C) an anti-blocking component comprising 10-50 wt.% of a compound represented by the formula [R1 -CO is an acyl radical of a saturated 14-22C fatty acid; R2 is CH2 -CH2 , CH2 -CH2 -CH2 or CH2 -CH(CH3 )], e.g. stearic acid monoethanolamide. The finish in an amount of 0.1-0.5 wt.% is applied to staple fibers, especially polyacrylonitrile fibers. |
