PURPOSE:To obtain a memory medium having high security performance without recording separately identification information needed for coincidence of data by using the internal data on a memory of an IC card to produce the data on the surface of the IC card. CONSTITUTION:An IC card 10 is set into a memory reader 22 and the contents of a memory part 15 of the card 10 are read by a RAM of a host computer. Then a display is carried out via embossing 17 applied onto the surface of the card 10 for production of the data on a name and an available period of the card based on the memory contents of the card 10 inputted to the host computer. Then the embossing is applied onto the card surface. Furthermore, the data are read out of the host computer and recorded on a magnetic stripe 12 of the card 10 like the embossing data. In such a way, coincidence is obtained between the contents of the memory 15 and those of the emboss 17 and the stripe 12. |
