The invention relates to machines of the training type for vines making it possible to stand the shoots up at the beginning of summer, leaving the gaps between the rows of vine stocks free. It comprises a framework 1, which goes around the tractor, with a pivoting point 3, which facilitates the hitching operation. Fixing takes place at the level of the lifting arms and, at the front, by means of a jaw-shaped piece. This framework supports, on the side, a hoop to which is fixed the overall mechanism which is entirely hydraulic and moved only by the oil circuit of the tractor. Two Archimedean screws, driven by hydraulic motors, lift up the shoots. Two threads are stretched out and pinned to each other by a device which is actuated from the driver's position. To do this, the die, to the right, describes a translational movement towards the pinning machine, to the left, by virtue of a hydraulic thrust cylinder whose movement is amplified by a lever plus connecting rod set. <IMAGE>
