The ends of the spindle have splined stubs (20) locating in sleeves moulded into the housing wall. The hole in each sleeve is wider than the stub, and the spindle is rotated to the required setting an secured via a grub screw (24) whose pointed end grips the splines. To locate the stub rotationally the inside of the sleeve has similar splines on the inside of its upper section. The greater screw holds the stub in contact with the holding segment.
