The insulating plate (1) is for installation under a roof, having an insulating layer (2) of mineral fibres and a covering layer (3) protruding beyond it. At two or more parallel outer end faces of the insulating layer are reinforcing strips (4,4') of an insulating material to protect it from compression loads.S The strip material is stronger than that of the layer itself. Each strip is grooved to accommodate the reinforcing strip on an adjacent plate. USE - Can be fitted closely together with others, leaving virtually no gaps.
