PURPOSE:To reduce the number of steps of winding by forming a superconducting coil and a closed circuit, winding only one of two non-inductive winding of a permanent current switch for turning ON, OFF a permanent current from the folding section of the start of winding, and winding, after one layer winding is completed, the remaining one thereon in the same direction. CONSTITUTION:Only one of a superconducting lead 1a is first wound from the folding section 2 of the start of winding, and a superconducting lead 1b is wound, after one layer winding is completed, on an interlayer insulated winding in the same direction as that of the lead 1a. Thus, the directions of currents flowing to the adjacent leads 1a of a first layer are all the same, but since the directions of the currents flowing to the leads 1b of a second layer are reversed at its folding sections, they become reverse to those of the first layer, and generated magnetic fields cancel each other to obtain a self-magnetic field being '0'. Thus, a non-inductive winding coil having the same as that when two windings are simultaneously wound can be obtained. The number of steps of winding is reduced thereby to obtain an economic permanent current switch. |
