PURPOSE:To minimize thermal shrinkage and prevent the characteristic deterioration because of stress of a superconducting coil, by using oxide chips which are mode by sintering a material powder where its blending is carried out to form an oxide having superconductivity as well as the oxide holding superconducting characteristics by heat-treatment. CONSTITUTION:Chips 10 made of sintered oxide are placed in slots 6a which are provided in the spiral form in a bobbin and a temporarily burnt powder where a burnt body of polyvinyl bytyral (PVB) is pulverized is bonded onto the chips 10 from the upper part of the chips 10. And then, an Ag plate 8 is welded so that the spiral slots 6a are cooled with the exception of their parts of introduction and exhaust ports of gases to form spiral tubes. And then, oxygen or a gas with oxygen is introduced into each spiral tube, that is, a cavity 9 through the above gas introduction and exhaust ports. Then the mainframe of this coil is treated with heat in a vacuum or in an atmosphere of inactive gas to manufacture a superconducting coil. |
