PURPOSE: To gradually lower the grain temp. with suppressing progress of drying due to outside air ventilation and avoid deterioration of the grain quality by comparing the outside air-equilibrium moisture content of the grains with the grains moisture content for the draft drying and changing and controlling the drying air flow rate high and low according to the difference thereof. CONSTITUTION: After an initial drying time set by a setting switch 32 lapses from the drying start fuel feed to a burner is stopped and hot air drying is stopped. Operation enters an interruption of drying for a time set by a switch 33 wile information from an outside air temp. sensor 40 and outside air humidity sensor 41 are taken in CPU 37 synchronously with a signal from a moisture content meter 43 to compute the equilibrium moisture content Mea of drying grains from the two. Whether the difference between this value and detected moisture content Mn exceeds a specified valueαis judged and if exceeding, the drying air flow rate is set to a max. value Q3 to successively draft and dry. Ifα>Mn-Mea>β, the air flow rate is set to a lower value Q1 and if Mn-Mea<β, a suction fan stops.
