The invention describes a device for producing a dental model of which an impression is made from a dental model part fixed on a base in the impression chamber of a so-called flask, the impression chamber receiving only part of a dental model and the flask being pivotably arranged on the base in such a way that its impression chamber passes at least approximately over the entire dental arch of the complete dental model on pivoting of the flask. This saves duplicating material and embedding composition as compared to known embodiments.
