<p>PURPOSE:To control an input error by providing a means to exclude dirt at the circumferential part of a sphere exposed to a lower surface. CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided at the circumferential part of a lower surface 10, where a sphere 2 of a mouse 1 is exposed, a brush 11 as a dirt excluding means, the sphere 2 can be protected from the dirt for the omnidirectional movement of the mouse 1 by this brush 11, and by the smooth turning of the sphere 2, an accurate rotational quantity and a position coordinate can be inputted. Further, the brush 11 can also be provided so as to surround the periphery of the exposing part of the sphere 2, and moreover, it is also possible to protrude the brush 11 only when it is necessary. Thus, the input error due to the incorrect turning of the sphere can be prevented.</p> |
