PURPOSE:To provide an efficient solid fuel boiler capable of continuously operating by controlling the quantity of a solid fuel and air to be supplied into a combustion furnace in accordance with the quantity of a load of the boiler. CONSTITUTION:The solid fuel boiler 100 is provided with a pressure detector 40 and a flame detector which detect the combustion conditions of the boiler 100. The solid fuel which has been supplied into a combustion furnace 30 is ignited by a pilot burner or the like. When the positive ignition of the solid fuel is detected, the pilot burner or the like is stopped, and the combustion is continued by only the supply of the solid fuel and air. When the boiler is under a low combustion condition, the frequency of a voltage supplied to drive motors 11 and 21 for a fuel delivering device 10 and a fuel pneumatic delivery fan 20, is increased to increase the rotational speed of the motors by a controller 60 through an inverter 50 thereby to increase the quantity of supply of the solid fuel and air to the combustion furnace 30. Further, when the boiler is under a high combustion condition, the rotation of the drive motors 11 and 21 are delayed, and the quantities of the solid fuel and air are reduced and normally shifted to a proper combustion state. Accordingly, an efficient and stable continuous driving becomes possible. |
