The present invention relates to a system for automatic toll payment using a mobile communication terminal and a method thereof, capable of paying a toll without duplicate payments through an application for toll payment installed in the mobile communication terminal and a vehicle self-diagnosis device. According to the description, when a vehicle passes through a virtual tollgate, the system allows only one person to pay a toll for the corresponding vehicle through communication with the vehicle self-diagnosis device attached to the vehicle and a smartphone, thereby solving a duplicate payment problem. |
