<p>PURPOSE:To significantly improve the shield effect by using a superconductor in the shield section which provides the shield between the channels. CONSTITUTION:In a rotary transformer consisting of a fixed part and a rotary part, which comprise magnetic core sections 12, 15, winding sections 11, 14 and a shield section 13 for shielding between the channels, respectively, a superconducting material is used in said shield section 13. For instance, the two channel windings 11 and 14 are wound in a doughnut and concentrically placed, and the magnetic cores 12, 15 are partitioned by a short ring 13. With this, the magnetic flux of the winding 11 produced by a signal current is prevented by the short ring from flowing into the magnetic core 15, and similarly, the magnetic flux produced by the winding 14 cannot flowing into the magnetic core 12. Further, the crosstalk component due to the electric field component is completely short-circuited by a superconductor 13. As a result, the shield effect between the channels are significantly improved.</p> |
