<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a color recorder simple in construction, easy to adjust and capable of generating scanning light with a hue corresponding to the color of an original, by separating white light into spectral components thereof, and selectively permitting the passage of only a predetermined color light with a predetermined intensity by shutters arranged in a matrix form. CONSTITUTION:An illuminating light-forming part comprises a collimator lens 21 for converting the light emitted from a white light source 1 into parallel rays and a slit 22 for restricting the beam coming from the lens 21 to rays for illuminating the interior of a rectangle having a predetermined area. By the illuminating light-forming part, the light from the light source 1 is emitted as parallel illuminating rays for illuminating the interior of the rectangle having the predetermined area. A spectral converting part 3 converts the parallel illuminating rays into a plurality of color light bands. A light valve array 4 selects the color light bands according to a recording signal, and controls the transmittances of the selected color light bands. A synthesizing part 5 synthesizes the rays emitted from the light valve array 4 and the resultant light is emitted on an extension of the optical path of the parallel illuminating rays. The synthesized light is focused on a scanning position on a recording medium by a condenser lens 6, thereby forming a scanning spot of light. Finally, a recording part 7 with the recording medium wrapped therearound is rotated and axially moved, thereby performing scanning for recording.</p> |
