摘要 The invention relates to a steel production process for smelting scrap, sponge iron pellets in prereduced form or the like, and optionally corresponding crude metals (bullion), in a stationary smelting vessel, the continuously smelted starting materials being fed to a heated continuous-treatment vessel in which separation of slag takes place continuously, the material present in the continuous-treatment vessel is superheated and, by the addition of appropriate alloy and deoxidation additions, the desired steel composition is achieved. In order to ensure in a direct way the continuity of the direct steel production up to continuous casting, without having to collect the steel in the meantime or decanting it elsewhere, it is proposed that, by selecting the oxidising smelting conditions and the carbon content in the starting material, carbon contents between 0.002 and 0.01 % in the metal are set in the continuous-treatment vessel (6), and that the liquefied material (3) flows into a first chamber (6') of the continuous-treatment vessel (6) fitted out as a tundish, where it is slagged off (deslagged) and the slagged-off metal flows into a second chamber (6'') of the continuous-treatment vessel (6) where it is alloyed, deoxidised, superheated and mixed through and, from the second chamber (6'') is continuously cast into a continuous-casting mould (18). <IMAGE>
