PURPOSE:To correct a turn table to be held to a set correct indexing position, by enabling the turn table to be finely rotated for an electric motor stopped by a connection part and actuating an index holding unit to act on the tooth groove of an indexing gear. CONSTITUTION:A detector 16, detecting an indexing gear 11 rotating with rotation of a turn table 3, feeds out a signal to a microcomputer. And the table 3 stops its rotary driving motion by stopping an electric motor 4 in the vicinity of a preset indexing position. And an indexing device, moving a rod 51 in an index operational direction and rotating a spline shaft 37 so as to turn an index holding member 27b and fit its holding pawl 28 into a selected tooth groove in an indexing geaer 12, holds the indexing gear 12. In this way, the device finely rotates the table 3 to be corrected to a correct indexing position for the indexing position of the table 3 set by the rotation detector 16 and the microcomputer. |
