PURPOSE:To obtain the title compsn. which is capable of giving easily and efficiently the title open-cell body used for wide applications such as various pipes by extrusion molding, and which comprises a polyvinyl chloride resin prepd. by suspension polymn. or bulk polymn. and respectively specified processing aid, stabilizer, surface active agent and foaming agent. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. comprises a polyvinyl chloride resin (A) prepd. by suspension polymn. and/or bulk polymn. (wherein it is pref. that the average degree of polymn. is in the range of 300-800), a processing aid of ultrahigh-MW acrylic resin (B) (wherein it is pref. that the MW is 1,000,000 or higher), a stabilizer (C) contg. metals of the group II and/or IV (e.g., lead salt stabilizers, Cd-Ba stabilizers, etc.), a surface active agent (D) (e.g., a combination of an anionic surface active agent with a nonionic surface active agent) and a heat-decomposable org. foaming agent (E) (e.g., azodicarbonamide) as the essential components. A rigid polyvinyl chloride resin open cell body, which cannot be prepared hitherto, can be easily and efficiently prepd. by using this compsn. by extrusion. |
