PURPOSE:To provide a given bending shape to a hose and a protector respectively, eliminate the bonding process and simplify the working process by fitting a hose and a protector over a mandrel and then vulcanizing the both simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:A tube-shaped hose 2 of unvulcanized rubber is fitted over through a mandrel 1 of given bending shape from its end and a tube-shaped protector 3 of unvulcanized rubber is inserted thereinto from the end of the hose 2, and the protector 3 is positioned in a given position. Then, the hose 2 and the protector 3 are vulcanized in pressurized water vapor, and a hose with a protector is manufactured by pulling the mandrel 1 out of the hose 2 after the completion of vulcanization. |
