PURPOSE:To improve advertizing effect of an advertizing plate of a postage meter in a thermal transfer recording system, by forming a band thermal transfer recording medium in which many divisions having different color tone are repeatedly provided, one of which contains a luminous paint. CONSTITUTION:An ink layer 22 for an advertizing plate section 12 can attain enough advertizing effect even when it is a monochromatic ink layer having a different color tone from an ink layer 21 for a postal stamp section 11. However, for raising the advertizing effect higher, the surface of the ink layer 22 for the advertizing plate section may be divided in logitudinal, lateral or slantwise direction, each divided portion being constituted by a thermal transfer ink layer having different color tone from one other. For example, if three portions 41, 42 and 43 are prepared in the surface of the ink layer for the advertizing plate section to be assigned for a primary color, namely, Y, M and C, the advertizing plate can be recorded by 7 colors or full colors in combination with a recording device of a postage meter. Moreover, the thermal transfer layer can contain a luminous paint, particularly, a solid solution of luminous paint by a well-known technique. |
