<p>PURPOSE:To improve the rotation life, noise characteristics and resistance temperature characteristics by applying a corona discharge process to the surface of supports made of resin as a pretreatment for applying and baking a resistive element paste to improve the wetting properties of the surface of the supports, thereby improving the adhesion of a paste sintered substance. CONSTITUTION:After applying a corona discharge process to the surface it supports 10 made of resin, a resistive element paste is applied on the surface of the supports 10 and baked. For instance, a corona discharge process is applied by a corona discharge device to the surface of supports 10 made of polyphenyl sulfide resin or the like. The corona discharge device is constructed by providing within an insulating resin base 1 a ground electrode 2 which is grounded, and supporting a discharge electrode 3 connected to a high-voltage transformer 4 with a holder 5 and placing it right above the base 1 so that it can be scanned in the direction of arrow A. A corona discharge is applied to the juxtaposed supports 10 for 1-20 seconds with an output voltage of 18-20kV and 0.004-0.05A. Thereafter, a carbon resistive element paste is printed by screen printing and heated for 15-30 minutes at a temperature of 130-150 deg.C for baking.</p> |
