PURPOSE:To attain output of a high voltage pulse signal with a narrow pulse width by decreasing the turn-off time. CONSTITUTION:When a discharge voltage goes to a prescribed level or below, a PNP transistor(TR) 31 at the high voltage side is turned off immediately. That is, the resistance of resistors 31A, 32A is set in general to a low value (50-150 ohms), and when the voltage across th resistors 31A, 32A reaches a base-emitter voltage of the TRs 31, 32 or below, the ON-state of the control circuit as shown in figure is stopped and the state is restored. Thus, an output pulse with sufficiently narrow pulse width is obtained. |
