摘要 PURPOSE:To restore a deterioration of a solar battery due to radio-active rays by a method wherein a heater is installed at a GaAs solar battery paddle, a battery is discharged until it becomes flat, this battery is charged again and, at the same time, discharge electric power of the battery is supplied to the heater. CONSTITUTION:Heaters 2 are installed at a GaAs solar battery paddle 1; when a power supply system is to be reconditioned, electric power is supplied directly to the heaters 2 from a battery 4 by using a control device 3. The solar battery paddle 1 is heated by using the heaters 2; and annealing effect is promoted; at the same time, because the battery 4 is discharged until it becomes flat, a memory effect is removed and an output characteristic is restored. After the battery has been discharged, a connection between the heaters 2 and the battery 4 is cut off by using the control device 3; the battery 4 is charged again; a reconditioning operation of the power supply system is finished. By this setup, electric power which has been abandoned as heat is utilized effectively and the solar battery can be reconditioned simultaneously.
