PURPOSE:To prevent the deformed part of a deformed transfer body from concentrating and the fault of the transfer from being caused when the transfer body is carried with being brought into contact closely with a toner image carrier by pressing the transfer body to the toner image carrier. CONSTITUTION:If a transfer paper 10 absorbs the moisture of only its periphery and gets lengthened, the both end parts get lengthened in comparison with the center part in width direction vertical to the feeding direction of the transfer paper 10; so that the carrier of the both end parts is delayed in comparison with the center part, and the center part is pulled to a leading edge side on the tailing edge part of the transfer paper 10, then the tendency to concentrate the deforming with the both end parts' moving to the center part is caused. However, since the transfer paper 10 is pressed to the surface of the belt formed photosensitive body 1; on the tailing edge part of the transfer paper 10, if a power to concentrate the deformed part is caused, the power to press the transfer paper 10 surpasses that force, so that the deformed part of the transfer paper 10 is not concentrated. Consequently, the center part of the transfer paper 10 is not floated from the surface of the belt formed photosensitive body 1, and the fault of transfer can be prevented from causing. |
