PURPOSE:To make a noise of an outdoor unit low by a method wherein supporting elements at a shaft constitute a supporting member for enclosing a fan motor in symmetrical with a center of the shaft, annular vibration-proof rubbers are fixed to both side surfaces near the center of shaft of the fan motor and their outer circumferences are indirectly supported to a protective guard. CONSTITUTION:An outer casing 1 has a protective guard 2 at a substantial central part of a longitudinal surface, a front supporting part 2a for a fan motor is arranged at a central front part, its central part is projected further forwardly, an annular vibration-proof rubber 4a is inserted in it and a front end of the fan motor 3 is set in coaxial with the center of the shaft. A rear supporting part 5 is projected rearwardly so as to enclose an outer circumference of the fan motor 3, its central part is projected rearwardly and an annular vibration-proof rubber 4b is inserted into a rear part of the fan motor so as to support it at the center of the shaft. A propeller fan 8 is located for rearwardly than the fan motor 3, an inner side of a central hub 8a may enclose an outside part of the rear supporting part 5 in a spaced-apart relation and rotatably arranged. Accordingly, an amount of vibration transmitted to the protective guard 2b is reduced, vibration of the outer casing 1 is also reduced and a circulating vibration of the fan motor can be reduced. |
