摘要 PURPOSE:To increase NO2 decomposition at low temperature by forming decomposition catalyst of nitrogen oxide which has specific lattice interval obtained by powder X-ray diffraction and contains univalent and/or divalent copper and a specific amount of ammonium. CONSTITUTION:When the cation of zeolite with lattice plane intervals (d value) shown in Table 1 is exchanged with copper ion, highly active decomposition catalysts of nitrogen oxide are obtained by applying a method to use an aqueous solution containing water-soluble copper salt and ammonia. The catalyst obtained is aminosilicate zeolite with a lattice plane interval (d value) obtained by powder X-ray diffraction shown in Table 1. In addition, the catalyst has univalent and/or divalent copper as chemical composition and also contains 0.2 or more of ammonia for the atomic number of copper '1'. This catalyst indicates an especially superior NOX decomposition activity as an NOX decomposition and removing catalyst.
