A vortex generation device for a railway vehicle is disclosed. The vortex generation device for a railway vehicle, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a compressed air supply part which is installed around a reducer housing of a railway vehicle and generates high-pressure compressed air; a vortex generation part which has an air inlet where the high-pressure compressed air is supplied and a ring-shaped body part connected to the air inlet, is located to surround a rotary shaft extended from the reducer housing, and receives the high-pressure compressed air through the compressed air supply part; and a sealing member which is inserted into the rotary shaft to face the vortex generation part and has multiple grooves on the inner circumference thereof. Therefore, the present invention prevents foreign materials from flowing thereinto and prevents lubricating oil from leaking through the rotary shaft connected to a drive motor of the railway vehicle. |
