PURPOSE:To prevent inversion from arising in a contacting electrification member and to stabilize contact electrification by setting a friction coefficient of a part where the contacting electrification member abuts on an image carrier lower than the friction coefficient of a cleaning member with respect to the image carrier. CONSTITUTION:The friction coefficient of the part where the contacting electrification member 2 abuts on the image carrier 1 is lowered to the extent of a dynamic friction coefficient of the part where the cleaning member abuts on the image carrier 1. Resultant force F3 made by the action force F1 of contacting electrification blade pressure and friction force F2 at the time of moving on the surface of a photosensitive body is turned in the inner part direction of the contacting electrification member 2 so as to reduce the components of inverting force, ease the compression of the contacting electrification member 2, etc., and to prevent blade inversion. The fiction coefficient of the contacting electrification member 2 is lowered by, for example, joining the sheet layer 22 made of a low friction coefficient material which obtained by imparting conductivity to resin having the smoothness of nylon-based agents, PFA-based agents, etc., and by controlling resistance value, to the surface of a blade part 21 facing the image carrier 1. |
