PURPOSE:To prevent interference fringes even in case of using a perfectly interference-causing light and to form a sharp image by using a substrate formed by dispersing an inorganic pigment into a resin, and forming fine continuous protuberances on the surface of the support. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is obtained by dispersing the inorganic pigment into a synthetic resin to form the support 4, forming on the surface of the support 4 the fine continuous protuberances having an average surface roughness R(a) and the maximum surface roughness R(max) as follows: 0.1mum<=R(a)<=0.5mum, and 1.5mum<=R(max)<=5mum, forming a conductive layer 3 along said fine continuous protuberances on the surface of the support 4 by the Al vapor deposition or the like to cause the surface of the layer 3 to reflect diffused light and to prevent the correct reflection of incident light, and successively laminating on the conductive layer 3 composed of a photoconductive layer 2 and an electric charge transfer layer 1, thus permitting the interference fringes like wood grains, called moire fringes not to appear on an image because light multireflection does not occur in the inside of the photosensitive body, and accordingly, a high-quality image to be obtained. |
