<p>A multicolor rotary screen printing machine comprising a number of parallel cylinder stencils (1) which are located in a common plane and which are each provided, on the inside, with a squeegee (4) consisting of a hollow tube (5) with a squeegee blade (6), has a novel squeegee suspension (7). The ends of each squeegee, which project outside the stencil (1), are suspended from one end of each of a pair of arms (10 min , 10 sec ), the arms each being guidably bearing-mounted along an individual screw spindle (15 min , 15 sec ) located parallel to the common plane and the screw spindles (15 min , 15 sec ,) each being provided with individual driving means (18, 19, 20) such as individually controlled electric motors and gears. It is thus possible to alter the position of the squeegee (4) within the stencil (1) and to automate the adjustment of the squeegee (4) during operation with the use of suitable control means acting on the said individual drive means (18, 19, 20). There is a squeegee holder (30) which consists of two hingingly interconnected sections (32, 33), the angle of which with respect to one another can be varied by means of a worm (38) and wheel segment (37) device, through which the angle of the squeegee within the stencil can be changed.</p> |
