PURPOSE:To improve the cleanability of a junction part to prevent staining on the rear face of a transfer material by working the stepped part of the ultrasonic weld part of a dielectric film belt, whose both ends are spliced with ultrasonic welding, to a prescribe height or less. CONSTITUTION:The stepped part of an ultrasonic weld part 5a of a dielectric film belt 5 which carries the transfer material between a photosensitive body and a transfer corona charger is shaved to <=20mum and is worked to reduce the surface roughness. As the result, the ruggedness of the junction part 5a of the dielectric film belt 5 is very reduced to improve the cleanability of a cleaning unit, and staining on the rear face of the transfer material is prevented. |
