INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM AND INFORMATION TRANSMITTER USING IT

PURPOSE:To use a board with low dimension accuracy for an information recording medium by providing an alignment line in parallel with the row of information pits. CONSTITUTION:The alignment line 3 is provided onto the information recording medium 1 and a correction mechanism for deviation is provided so as to make the photodetector of the information transmitter using the information recording medium in parallel. The alignment line 3 is recorded in parallel with the column of pits 2 with the information recorded thereupon and the photodetector array of the information transmitter reads the alignment line. If the alignment line and the photodetector array are not in parallel, a variance takes place in the output of the photodetector array. The alignment line and the photodetector array are made parallel by moving obliquely the photodetector array in a direction to eliminate the variance of the output. Since the variance is corrected as above, the information recording sheet medium with an optional shape is used to make the information recording medium low in the cost.
