PURPOSE: To generate melody sounds or accompaniment sounds of a music with mere movement of hands without key depression on a keyboard by outputting musical scale information, which is determined by a combination of detection outputs of position detection means for the right arm and the left arm, to a music producer. CONSTITUTION: Position detection means 2-1 and 2-2 for the right arm and the left arm which detect positions of operator's right and left arms and a control means 10 which outputs musical scale information, which is determined by a combination of detection outputs of position detection means for the right arm and the left arm, to music producers 11 and 12 are provided. When the operator H takes sticks 1-1 and 1-2 in his both hands respectively and variously shakes his both arms with his fingers off switches 5 and 6, melody sounds which have pitches corresponding angles of shake of both arms and operation states of switches 8 and 9 are emitted from a speaker SP. When the operator H pushes the switch 5 and/or the switch 6, accompaniment sounds which correspond to angles of shake of both arms and operation states of switches 5, 6, 8 and 9 are emitted from the speaker SP. |
