PURPOSE:To increase productivity and to reduce cost by forming a projection and fitting-projection pieces on the connecting surface of a strap and a plate lug, pressing the strap and the lug for supplying current, and filling a melted lead alloy for welding. CONSTITUTION:A plate lug 6 is held between electrodes 10, 10', and is brought into contact with a projection 5 inside projection pieces 2, 3 of a strap 1. When a pressing pice 12 pressed the lug 6, current is instantaneously supplied and the projection 5 is melted and flows into the gap between contact surfaces 4, 7. When current is supplied again, the contact surfaces 4, 7 between the lug 6 and the strap 1 are melted. Since the lug 6 is pressed and the gap is shielded with tips 11, 11' of a holding part, upper and lower shielding plates, and lead alloy flowed in the gap, lead alloy melted from the contact surfaces 4, 7 is mixed and stirred by pressing and a good welding part having the similar alloy component is obtained. Productivity is therefore increased and cost is reduced. |
