PURPOSE:To improve the critical temperature and the critical current density with a shortened treatment, by annealing in an oxygen atmosphere, then annealing using oxygen plasma in the temperature-maintaining and/or gradually cooling process, when an oxide superconductive material is produced. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive material containing at least one element from Ca, Sr, and Ba, at least one element from Cu, Al and Fe, and at least one element from O, halogen and H is annealed in an oxygen atmosphere. The superconductive material 21 is placed in an oxygen plasma generator, oxygen plasma is generated by RF discharge using a magnetic field, the temperature is kept at about 900 deg.C in the oxygen plasma to effect annealing, then oxygen-plasma annealing is continued during the gradually cooling process. Thus, an oxide superconductive material of high denseness and excellent stoichiometry is obtained. |
