<p>PURPOSE:To record/reproduce required data accurately by reproducing a sub- code data through the partial rewinding of a loaded tape in starting the recording/reproduction and comparing it with a sub-code data stored previously in a memory section so as to attain desired recording and reproduction. CONSTITUTION:A reproduction mode is set by the depression of a proper key in a mode setting section 18A and it is commanded to a control section 18. Suppose that the system is in the unloading state, the tape is loaded to wind the tape onto a drum. Then the tape is wound slightly and the signal is reproduced to read a required sub-code. When the content of the read sub-code is coincident with the content stored in the memory section 30, the suppression of a mute section 16 by the control section 18 is released and the substantial reproduction is transited. Thus, the tip of the tape is detected accurately to apply the required recording/reproduction.</p> |
