PURPOSE:To facilitate the signal processing which follows and enable to drive each solid-state image pickup element at high frequency independently of its number, in a photoelectric conversion device wherein the solid-state image pickup elements are arranged linearly. CONSTITUTION:A clear pulse phiR is generated from a pulse generation circuit 2 immediately before the fall of each scanning drive pulse phi1-phin, and a switch 7 is turned ON by this clear pulse phiR. The photocurrent generated from each solid-state image pickup element 11-1n is successively extracted to an output video line 4 by a method wherein switches 31-3n are successively turned ON- OFF by the scanning drive pulses phi1-phin generated successively from the pulse generation circuit 2. This video line 4 has a floating capacitor Cv, and the converted current is charged into this capacitor Cv. Thereby, the signal processing which follows is facilitated, and each solid-state image pickup element can be driven at high frequency regardless of its number. |
