<p>PURPOSE:To form an air passage and to prevent the leakage of ink, by providing a capillary tube trap around a conical vent hole. CONSTITUTION:Three vent holes 12, 14, 16 are formed to the side wall part 18 of a cartridge 10 and an opening part 32 forms an air passage. The capillary tube trap 34 extending to the circumference of a base part 28 allows a liquid to go away from a leading end part 30. vertical wall parts 36, 38 surrounding a conical member 26 operates the trap 34 to draw out liquids 60, 62 to the base part 28. The vent hole 14 contains an outside conical member 52 and a capillary tube trap 56 surrounds the base 53 of the conical part 52 to trap a small amount of the liquid 59 injected through the opening part 32. The liquid 59 prevents the leakage of the remaining liquid from the air opening part 32.</p> |
