PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition, consisting of an O/W type emulsion containing borax, polyaminomonocarboxylic acid, benzalkonium chloride and silicone based feeling improver as principal ingredients and suitable as wet towels, towels, diapers, sheets, etc. CONSTITUTION:A germicidal and softener composition, containing 0.4-4wt.% borax, 0.1-1wt.% polyaminomonocarboxylic acid, 0.1-1wt.% benzalkonium chloride and 1-10wt.% silicone based feeling improver (i.e. various silicone emulsions) as principal ingredients, usable for sterilizing and softening treatment of textile products, such as wet towels, diapers or sheets, nightclothes or underwears, such as bathrobes or pajamas, or as a cleaning agent by permeating into paper, etc., and capable of improving feeling of use. The skin cleaning action and germicidal action of the above-mentioned composition are synergistically exhibited with softening action on textile products, tissue paper, etc. |
