Multicolor rotary screen printing machine comprising a number of parallel cylindrical stencils (22), pairwise rotatably suspended on both sides of a transverse beam (57) and cooperating with a travelling printing blanket (23); the stencils and the blanket are driven by a common motor, mounted externally of the machine,said motor driving an intermediate shaft (26) supported upon the frame (21) of the machine, from which shaft the stencils are jointly driven through a stepped gear drive (44) and hereafter individually through a series of toothed wheels (60) and a planetary driving mechanism (61).
