PURPOSE:To cut a protruding part and insert a pad into a scarf plate with no step difference by inserting the pad of the same section as a hollow section, into the inner side of a hollow seal in an opening trim terminal part, and forming the seal into flatness so as to be protruded to the lower side via a bonding agent. CONSTITUTION:A sectional U-shaped base 4 is installed in a body frame 3 in the inner circumference of a body panel opening 2 of a car door and an opening trim 1 is attached to it. A hollow seal part 5 for sealing a door peripheral edge is formed in the side of the said trim 1, and in order to insert it into a scarf plate 6 installed in a step art of the body panel opening 2, a pad 7 of the same section as a hollow section is inserted into the inner side of the hollow seal part 5, while the hollow seal part 5 is formed into flatness so as to be protruded to the lower side via a bonding agent, and it is inserted thereinto after cutting a protruded part 5b. According to this method, there is no step difference in a connection with the scarf plate owing to pad insertion, thus improvement in appearance is promotable. |
