PURPOSE: To obtain a waterproof sheet having a high strength, reduced heat shrinkage and excellent dimensional stability by employing, as a fiber-base fabric, a knitted fabric of nylon fiber obtained by a specific high-speed spinning. CONSTITUTION: This waterproof sheet is obtained by employing, as a fiber base fabric for asphaltic waterproof sheet, a knitted fabric of nylon fiber produced by conducting a melt spinning at a high speed of >=4,000 m/min. and then impregnating the fabric with asphalt, wherein the waterproof sheet when impregnated is subjected to little dimensional change so as to resultantly render the sheet stable. The sheet is little in heat shrinkage and excellent in sheet strength, and hence there is never found out any breakage in the sheet when applied. |
