PURPOSE:To obtain a high strength titanium alloy having excellent balance between strength and ductility by specifying the compsn. consisting of Al, V, O, Fe, Ni, Cr and Ti. CONSTITUTION:The titled titanium alloy contains, by weight, 5.5-6.75% Al, 3.5-4.5% V, <=0.2% O, <=0.3% Fe, 0.2-0.8% Ni/(Ni+Cr) and 1.5-3.0% Ni+Cr and the balance Ti with inevitable impurities. In said alloy, the excellent balance between strength and ductility can be obtd. in the reratively low temp. range. |
