PURPOSE:To simplify both a focusing optical system and a tracking optical system, and a servo circuit by dividing an optical recording medium into an information recording part and a track guide part, and dividing a recording/ reproducing device into the focusing optical system and the tracking optical system, too, correspondingly to this. CONSTITUTION:The device is divided into a track guide part detecting optical system (A) for detecting the track guide part of a recording surface 46 in the optical recording medium, and a recording/reproducing optical system (B) for performing the recording/reproducing of the information of an information recording part in it. Then, the position of the group of reference lines in the formation recording stripe of an optical card is converted into the bit position of a photosensor array 35 by the track guide part detecting optical system (A), and the focusing optical system is moved in a moving direction 45 in relation to tracking, and positional relation between the recording/reproducing optical system (B) and the optical card is controlled. Accordingly, the recording/ reproducing optical system (B) controls only the focusing, that is, only an objective lens moving direction 44 for the focusing. |
