<p>PURPOSE:To prevent sheets from being excessively moved back if the sheets are overlappingly fed, by attaching a retainer member for retaining the upper surface of a sheet even when a call-out roll releases the press contact of the sheet, upstream of the call-out roll. CONSTITUTION:A call-out ever 5 on which a call-out roller 2 is rotatably supported, for making the call-out roller into press contact with the upper surface of a sheet, is journalled rotatably thereto with a retaining arm 6, and a retainer roll 7 for retaining the upper surface of the sheet when the call-out roll 5 re eases the press contact to the sheet, is attached to the call-out lever 5 at a position upstream of the call-out roll 2. With this arrangement, if more than two of sheets are overlappingly fed, a reverse roll 4 is rotated in the direction F so as to return the sheets on the lower side into a cassette 1. At this time, the right end side of the arm 5 is lifted up about a feed shaft 8 so as to release the press contact by the roll 2, and accordingly, the reverse feed of the lower side sheets is not hindered.</p> |
