Cyclohexenone derivatives of the general formula <IMAGE> (I) where R is C1-C6-alkyl, cyclopropyl, phenyl or C2-C6-alkoxyalkyl, R1 is hydrogen, tetrahydropyran-2-yl, benzoyl or unsubstituted or halo-substituted C1-C6-alkanoyl, and R2 is hydrogen or C1-C6-alkyl, and phytophysiologically tolerable salts thereof, and their use for regulating plant growth.
